SVIN is an unorthodox approach to instrumental music. The band celebrates freedom in music and hails independence, love and limitless diversity in art!
SVIN is moving across the borderlands between abstract rock, drone-based folklore and ambient noise. Behind layers of polyrhythmic drums, floating keyboards, roaring saxophone and explosive guitar they have made room for airy, meditating melodies and circulating motifs.
In October 2016 Missionær was released on the Danish record label PonyRec - and the band performed at Roskilde Festival in the summer of 2017. In 2018 SVIN released their fifth album Virgin Cuts on Mom Eat Dad Records.
SVIN has toured extensively in Denmark, Europe and Russia and is a part of the programme “The Young Artistic Elite” from 2019 - 2021 supported by The Danish Arts Foundation.
